Although rejection is often the norm in scientific research and careers, successes do occur and they are sweet to enjoy. It’s been a big few weeks in the lab with multiple awards, fellowships, and grants being received (more information on some of the big grants soon)!
- Laura Lukens was awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship
- Kyle Ruszkowski received a Graduate Degree Program in Ecology Graduate Research Grant and support to hire a CSU Extension summer intern
- Nicki Bailey received an award for her talk on urban bee ecology at the North Central Branch Entomological Society of America meeting
- Sophia Gulutzo received funding to hire a CSU Extension summer intern and represented CSU at College Disc Golf Nationals!
- John Mola received the Excellence in Early Career Research Award at the North Central Branch Entomological Society of America meeting
